Summary:
Provides technical support through troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to end-user equipment, including laptops and printers. Maintains user access for bank systems and applications by setting permissions, and perform software updates.
Salary Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. A higher rate may be offered to candidates with exceptional experience or skills.
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 to 2 years of IT-related experience and/or an equivalent IT-related certification or degree is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload based on overall IT Department needs.
- Working knowledge and experience working with Windows desktop operating systems and printers in a networked environment.
Specific Job Functions:
- Develops and maintains an awareness of IT security mindset and follows all applicable policies and procedures.
- Receives, tracks, and responds to IT help desk system tickets and end-user phone calls.
- Provides assistance to users with the use of core banking applications, Windows operating systems, and other related software.
- Maintains user access permissions across all IT systems and applications, including user setups, modifications, and terminations.
- Escalate technical issues to other IT staff or vendors as needed.
- Performs desktop setup, configuration, and deployment for end users.
- Works with vendors and IT team members to support system updates, upgrades, patches, and fixes.
- Assists with monitoring network and system performance to ensure security, efficiency, and reliability.
- Accepts responsibility to stay abreast of all Federal and State laws, and compliance regulations governing the bank in general, and as they pertain to the job function.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Exemption Status:
- Non-exempt, hourly position.
Location:
- Operations Center located in Wells River, Vermont, with potential for a hybrid work arrangement.
Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm with occasional Saturdays and after-hours.
