Position Summary:
Will be responsible for the accurate and efficient opening of all new accounts. In addition, refer & cross-sell the appropriate bank products and services that meet the customer’s needs.
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service and sales experience
- Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience in a bank setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good understating of financial products and services
Specific Job Functions
- Provides a complete range of customer service duties, including opening new accounts, wire transfers, online banking, and issuing debit cards.
- Promote, explain, and sell bank products and services such as IRA’s, certificate of deposit, and safe deposit boxes.
- Make appropriate referrals for mortgages, investment services, and commercial loans.
- Assist the Branch Manager in coordinating branch day to day activities consistent with security and other bank policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Serves as a back-up to fill in on the teller line to provide routine teller services to customers, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, stop payment orders, money orders, Treasurer’s checks, and check orders.
- Demonstrate knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
- Accepts responsibility to stay abreast of all Federal and State laws, and compliance regulations governing the bank in general, and as they pertain to the job function in particular.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Non-exempt, hourly position
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours a week rotating Saturdays (9:00am until 12:00pm)
